In contrast to our past events where we have purchased supplies needed and included the cost in our ticket price, we invite attendees to play an active role in crafting and bringing the very supplies needed to fuel the event—whether it’s art installations, structures, tools, or even basic necessities. In doing so, we embrace a sustainable alternative to the typical consumerist mindset, emphasizing resourcefulness, collaboration, and conscious creation.
Rather than simply consuming goods, participants contribute to the festival’s lifeblood, from gathering materials to creating communal spaces, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of repurposing. Every individual is empowered to offer what they can—whether it’s handmade items, eco-friendly supplies, or creative skills—ensuring that the festival is built on the collective effort of those who attend.
Through this kind of community collaboration, sustainability isn’t just about reducing waste—it’s about rethinking how we live, create, and celebrate together in harmony with the planet. This is an opportunity to practice our spirituality in a practical, pragmatic, and inexpensive way.
