The Gulf Pagan Resiliency Project (GPRP), founded in 2025 by Ty Siddiqui, is a nonprofit focused on strengthening the Pagan and spiritual communities of the Gulf South. GPRP offers public and private events, educational programs, and sustainability activism with an emphasis on resilience and mutual aid. The organization supports those affected by climate and economic challenges while fostering spiritual growth and social equity.
GPRP’s vision is to create a dedicated space in Louisiana for Pagan practices, resources, and hurricane evacuation. Proceeds from events will fund a multipurpose center that serves as an event venue, resource hub, and shelter. Membership will be available soon, with all proceeds reinvested for community benefit. The project is open to all sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds, prioritizing inclusivity, sustainability, and spiritual resilience.

Enjoy communal meals and volunteer led classes and activities during the day, and music and performances by local pagan artists around the bonfire at night, or just enjoy the natural beauty of the All You Need Institute’s enchanted campground, "The Burrow." Camp beneath the towering pine trees, take a dip in the crystal-clear, all-natural pond, and explore the winding trails of a national forest as we chase the spirit of the May Queen! Celebrate the the magic of Beltane while embracing the Pagan values of diversity, connection, and sustainability.
The Hunter that finds the Queen is named Oak King, and together they'll form the focus of our Great Rite, a solemn symbolic union of the sun and the earth, inviting the energy of growth and change into our lives for the year. Our rituals pull from many traditions, reflecting the diversity of our community, to create something unique and inspired by the land and people taking part. All paths are welcome in the spirit of respect and collaboration.
The Hunt began as a one-night fundraiser for the Greater New Orleans Pagan Pride Project organized by Ty Siddiqui. It has evolved over the last fourteen years into a vibrant tradition honoring the season, fertility, and renewal in community and companionship with the earth. Our hope is that, with your help, it will continue to evolve into a force for good, channeling energy and resources into our Gulf Pagan Community.

On the second-to-last last weekend of October, we'll gather beneath the pines at the All You Need Institute in Lumberton, MS to acknowledge our seasons turning to the darkness, active energy becoming dormant, and will journey through a sacred act of death.
On Friday, we will celebrate our communal gathering with a potluck feast, followed by our opening ritual, titled "A Night with the Norns," a personal moment of divination to help each of us connect with the spirit of the weekend.
Saturday will feature classes, workshops, communal meals, community conversations, and our samhain rite, a journey through death. We'll stay up late circling the bonfire, drumming out the spirits, and dancing in celebration of the thinning of the veil. Sunday will feature our closing ritual, Making Jack's Bed, where we will put to sleep the jack 'o' the green and witness the rise of the holly king's power.
We promise great community connection, conversation, relaxation, and a spiritual journey to recognize the sacred, necessary, and transformative power of death and decay.
If you'd like to volunteer to lead a class or activity or otherwise help shape this new event reach out via email (WyldFireBeltaneHunt@gmail.com) or our facebook page and let us know!
We hope both the Wyld Fire Hunt and Emberglow can become a source of not just joy and togetherness, but also funding for the Gulf Pagan Resilience Project, our dream of creating permanent, communally held infrastructure and systems of support for the greater pagan community in this region.
